Mother/Father God
Light of Creation
Light that I Am
I give thanks for all that I have and all that I Am
We invoke the Power of the Violet Flame, burning through up, and around our bodies, transmuting any energies out of alignment with our I Am presence.
We invoke the Power of the Sword of Michael and the Angels of Protection to surround and protect us within the impenetrable Sapphire Blue Spheres.
We invoke the Power of the Light of Christ, filling and surrounding us in the protection and Divine Healing Grace of our Master Healer and Teacher.
We gratefully rest in safety in the loving arms of our Blessed Mother Mary.
Anchoring in Mother Earth, we align ourselves with the Love of the Universe.
We decree perfect protection by these powers and the Love of God that I Am. Any energies operating outside of this light and Love must now depart to the Light voluntarily, or be taken there by the Spirit of Christ.
What is Reiki?
Reiki is spiritually guided life force energy used to heal.
Since ancient times, it has been recognized by many cultures and spiritual traditions that an unseen energy flows through all living things and is connected directly to the quality of health an individual experiences. The existence of this “life force energy” has been verified by recent scientific experiments, and medical doctors are considering the role it plays in the functioning of the immune system and the healing process.
Reiki is another name for this God-consciousness derived energy; Rei refers to that which guides the life force called Ki. This is a meaningful interpretation of the word Reiki. It more closely describes the experience most people have of it; Reiki guiding itself with its own wisdom.
Reiki's Origin
The origin of Reiki is found in the life of Mikao Usui. Mikao Usui was born in the village of Yago in Gifu prefecture in Japan on August 15, 1865, where his ancestors had lived for eleven generations. Around the turn of the 20th century, Usui contracted Cholera as an epidemic swept through Kyoto. He had a profound near-death experience in which he experienced visions of — and instruction from — Mahavairocana Buddha, the Great Central Buddha. This was a life changing experience for Usui that caused him to make a major reassessment of his life. He developed a keen interest in the esoteric science of healing as taught by Buddha, and he developed the compassionate wish that he may learn these methods in order to benefit mankind.
In 1914 Usui undertook a 21 Day meditation retreat so he might receive an answer to his prayer and vow. Usui went to his favorite meditation spot at Mount Kurama-yama and undertook “Isyu Guo”, an intensive practice utilizing some the tantric materials he had studied. During his “satori” experience, he came to the realization of Reiki. Through the distillation of years of study and practice Usui was able to meld together a method for bringing the essence of these Buddhist practices to the masses. He called it Reiki. Learning Reiki
An amazingly simple technique to learn, the ability to use Reiki is not taught in the usual sense, but is transferred to the student by the Reiki Master. Its use is not dependent on one’s intellectual capacity or spiritual development and, therefore, is available to everyone. It has been successfully taught to thousands of people of all ages and backgrounds.
Reiki training will not only give you the ability to assist in healing, it will open up your intuition and allow you to be more connected with the source. Many people report that Reiki enhances their intuitive abilities in an extraordinary fashion.
The Reiki Precepts (Principles)
Traditional history says that Dr Usui received inspiration about the healing of the spirit through a decision to take responsibility for one’s own health and well being in order for Reiki to have a lasting effect. One of the most important aspects of the principles is the phrase, Just for Today. Living in the moment, being aware of what is going on around you, causes you to live in the present. Consider the thoughts that you have going through your mind. Are they centered in the present? Are you thinking about the past or future? The past is gone and the future has not arrived yet, so just for today, try to stay in the moment you are in.
Just for today, do not worry.
To worry is to forget that there is a divine or universal purpose in everything. Worry is often our usual response to something that we think is going to happen in the future (not the present) but often doesn’t happen. When we are aware that we have lived each day the best we can, we know that the rest is up to the Universe. When we worry we separate ourselves from the Universal wholeness. In addition, we also are not trusting that all is in divine order. To worry creates more limitations in our lives. Surrender to the plan of our higher self. All is in divine order, learn to release and to trust. Letting go of worry, brings healing into the body.
Just for today, do not anger.
Anger is a destructive emotion. Anger is tied to expectations about what we believe should or shouldn’t happen or may be a response to the past. Just for today, it’s about holding an attitude of forgiveness and understanding rather than anger, misunderstanding, and confrontation. If one does find themselves angry, it is important to acknowledge your anger and not keep it bottled up without finding some safe release for it. Anger at yourself, others, or at the whole world, creates serious blockages in one’s energy. It is the most complex inner enemy. Reiki is an excellent tool to remove anger blockages, which we have accumulated in the body over years, but it cannot remove the residue of current anger, which occurs daily. Letting go of anger brings peace into the mind.
Honor your parents, teachers, and elders.
Honor your parents, honor your teachers, and honor your elders. Being kind brings love into the will of the person. Truly we are all of one source. Any positive energy, whether directed at ourselves or others, helps to heal the whole planet. Each person, animal, plant, and mineral is included in the whole planet. To show love and respect to all others, is to love and respect ourselves and our Mother Earth. This means we should learn to honor and be grateful to everyone for the part they play in our lives; friends, neighbors, children, spouses, and colleagues, everyone we come into contact with throughout our day. I believe what goes around comes around. So just for today, if you honor and respect others they will do the same.
Earn your leaving honestly.
To be honest with yourself is to face the truth in all things. Support yourself and your family respectably, without harming others. Earn a respectable living and live a life of honor. Every one of us is valuable and special, we all play special roles in each other’s lives, and we all impact each other in many different ways. All work is valuable and we should honor ourselves for doing it and receive satisfaction from what we do. Stay in the moment and enjoy what you are doing. Be honest with yourself; accept yourself for who you are. Working honestly brings abundance into the Soul.
Show gratitude in every living thing.
To live in gratitude is to live in abundance. When we are constantly in the attitude of gratitude, feeling thankful not only for what we have received, but for what we know and trust will constantly be provided, we begin to magnetically attract abundance. Remember, if you feel subconsciously unworthy of the riches and the wealth of the Universe, you will block the flow of abundance to you. You need to feel able to accept the abundance that is rightfully yours. Just for today, be grateful from your heart inward. Inner intention is the important element in this principle. Simple things such as thankfulness, forgiveness, a smile, kind words, and showing gratitude can improve others lives and make them happy. Being thankful brings Joy into the Spirit.
Dr. Usui directed his students to say these principles aloud morning and evening, as a means toward integrating them into the fabric of their lives. He realized the importance of a person’s participation in his or her own healing process. He believed that a person had to want and then ask for a change or a healing to make a real difference in their own life. The five principles that Dr. Usui taught emanate naturally from a person in his or her proper flow. At the same time, trying to live the principles also helps put a person in that flow, because again, what you think is truly what you are.
Reiki Workshops with Zeffi Devi.
Zeffi Devi was made a Reiki master in a very short period of time relative to most students. Her teacher told her to return to Greece and start teaching Reiki. Soon after, Zeffi opened the first Reiki Center in Athens, Greece recognized by the Greek government.
Her teacher attributed Zeffi’s quick study to the volume of healing work Zeffi had already completed and her remarkable intuitive gifts. In the years since Zeffi started her Reiki work, she has taught all over the world. She gives courses in Japan, Greece, and the United States and is based in Sedona, Arizona.
Reiki I Workshop
Reiki I covers the definition and history of Reiki and four attunements allowing you to connect to the source. Hand positions are given. The one day workshop is half lecture, half hands on. As soon as you finish you can start feeling the energy and help yourself to stay in balance.
Reiki II Workshop
Reiki II reinforces Reiki I knowledge and 4 more attunements are given. The one day course covers giving a complete Reiki treatment, the Reiki II symbols and how to use them, using Reiki to heal unwanted habits, distant healing, scanning and beaming. The class is a combination of lecture, discussion and experience. Practice time includes giving and receiving a complete Reiki treatment using all the hand positions, the self-treatment, scanning self and others, beaming, use of the second degree symbols and sending Reiki to others at a distance.
Reiki III Workshop
Those who receive their Reiki III certification are considered Reiki Masters. The two day workshop consists of 3 parts:
The Master level attunement is performed wherein the student is opened to the fullest experience of the Reiki Energy available to them. The Master Symbol is presented, and the student learns to draw upon the highest and purest of healing energy. A great deal of hands on work is involved the first day.
The second section of the course covers psychic surgery, the master grid, and how to work with clear quartz crystals.
In the third section, the student is taught to perform all the attunements and to teach the classes. This portion of the class is given on the second day so the full depth of the teachings can be absorbed.
